A closer look at my work.

This photography work spans multiple countries and cities, including the United States and China, documenting everyday life across urban, community, and public spaces. Moving between campus environments, city streets, museums, waterfronts, and neighborhoods, the images observe how people occupy space, interact with their surroundings, and exist within moments of quiet movement and transition.

Rooted in documentary practice, this body of work blends journalistic awareness with an artistic sensitivity to light, composition, and atmosphere. Rather than focusing solely on events, the photographs emphasize lived experience — small gestures, pauses, and rhythms that reveal the emotional and social texture of a place. Across different cultural and geographic contexts, the work reflects an ongoing interest in time, presence, and the subtle relationship between individuals and the spaces they move through.
